Art, devotion and flowers: the magic of a tradition that brings a town together.
Every June, Genzano di Roma becomes a flower-filled wonder to celebrate Corpus Domini. The Infiorata, a tradition dating back to 1778, is now recognised as Italian Heritage. A full year of preparation leads to stunning floral designs made by hand, thanks to the skill of the Maestri infioratori and the local community. Blending petals, devotion, and art, the highlight is the Corpus Domini Procession along the decorated street. A one-of-a-kind event, just outside Rome.
