Included services and activities

Included in your booking, you'll have:

• bed linen and towels for each guest*;

• entry to the swimming pool (during the opening season), playground and all other common areas;

• the use of WiFi (available in common areas).

Pets are allowed in all our accommodations, as long as you follow these precautions:

• All animals must comply with veterinary health regulations, as proven by the vaccination booklet;

• All animals must be kept in such a way as not to cause a nuisance or damage to other guests or things in the camping;

• Animals of large size or of breeds considered dangerous are allowed only if agreed in advance with management;

• The owner bears full responsibility if the animal causes injury to other people or damage to property;

• Dogs must always be kept on a lead and may not enter the pool area and playground;

• Booking with pets includes a mandatory final cleaning cost of € 25.00 for all accommodations except pitches.

If you'll be travelling with your pet, let us know at the time of booking and please bring your documents and vaccination certificates with you.

It is not possible to enter the campsite without a reservation.

hu Roma camping in town is open all year round.

You can check in from 2 pm onwards for accommodation and from 12 am for pitches.
Our reception is open 24 hours a day, so you can arrive whenever you like, but we cannot guarantee that your accommodation will be available before 2:00 pm.

To check-in online before your arrival, follow the wizard at this link: enter the booking number, which you'll find in the confirmation email, and then enter your arrival and departure dates. Fill in your details and then the details of the people who will be travelling with you. On completion of the check-in process, you will receive a confirmation email.

Check-out times

You must leave your accommodation and check out at the reception by 10 a.m. for accommodation and by 12 noon for pitches.

If you plan to check out outside the scheduled time, please come to reception the night before to check prices and availability.

Check-in papers

For European citizens, all you need is your national ID card. Non-EU citizens need to show their passports - this also applies to children. ID must be presented in the original (neither photos nor copies will be accepted) and the document must be valid. Minors under the age of 18 are not allowed to enter the facility unaccompanied.

If you'll be travelling with your pet, let us know at the time of booking and please bring your documents and vaccination certificates with you.

Entry into the camping is allowed from 14:00 am on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room and/or your car in the car park in front of the reception depending on availability.

By car

If you arrive from outside Rome, follow the signs towards Rome, on the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" motorway, take exit 1 "Aurelia" towards the centre, after one kilometer you will find the Camping on your right.

By plane

The closest major airport to hu Roma camping in town is Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO).

After landing, you can rent a car, take a taxi or use public transport to reach Via Aurelia 831.

It is possible to request the transfer service to the village by booking 48 hours in advance of the expected arrival time. Click here to book the transfer.

By public transport

Rome has an extensive public transport network. You can take a combination of bus and subway to reach your destination:

From the airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini (Rome's central train station).

From Rome Termini, take the Line A metro (red line) towards Cornelia.

Get off at Cornelia metro station.

From Cornelia, you can take a bus or taxi to Via Aurelia 831.

On the train

If you arrive in Rome by train from another Italian city, you will probably arrive at Roma Termini.

From Rome Termini, follow the same instructions in the "By Public Transport" section to reach Via Aurelia 831.

Shuttle service

Starting 25th March there is a return shuttle service available from the campsite to the Cipro.

Metro A stop, 600 metres on foot from the entrance to the Vatican Museums. You can purchase
tickets at our infopoint.

Public transport

To get to Rome city centre from the campsite, you can take bus 246 (Cornelia direction) or bus 247 (Cipro Metro Station direction) from the bus stop just outside the campsite. Those buses will take you to the Cornelia Station on the Metro A line. From there you can take the metro to get to all the central stations.

To come back to the campsite, just take the Metro A line (Battistini direction) to Cornelia Metro Station, and then from the same street you can take either of the two buses mentioned above (Malagrotta direction for bus 246 or Aurelia Station direction for bus 247), and get off at the stop at the supermarket in front of the campsite.

Alternatively, if you walk 1 kilometre from the campsite to Roma Aurelia Railway Station, you can take a train directly to the centre. Trains run approximately once every hour. They also stop at the Roma Termini and Roma Tiburtina railway stations.

When booking you will be asked for the period and destination you are interested in. Depending on your method of contact, we'll check the availability of the requested accommodation and give you a price as soon as possible. In case of unavailability, we'll offer you alternatives to consider.

The tourist tax is € 3.00 per person, per night, up to 5 nights.

The following are exempt from payment:

• persons under 10 years of age;
• Individuals who are caring for patients in public or private hospitals;
• Patients undergoing hospital treatment;
• People with disabilities with a certificate and accompanying person.;
• Military personnel and law enforcement officers on duty.

Only if you book by e-mail, you will be asked to pay 30% of the reservation deposit by bank transfer.

You can book the continental breakfast service when booking.

Please note:
• Continental breakfast will be served at our bars or restaurants and includes: croissants, hot drinks of your choice, fruit juice, yogurt, bread, butter, jam, Nutella, cereals, biscuits, fresh fruit, toast with cooked ham and cheese, cheese, boiled eggs

• Please specify any food allergies or intolerances in the Notes section.

At the time of booking a credit card will be required as a guarantee and the balance of the reservation must be paid upon arrival at the property.

If the Non-Refundable Tariff is selected payment of the full amount must be made at the time of booking.

In both cases, tourist tax must be paid upon arrival.

You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Only in the case of non-refundable rates, cancellation entails the loss of 100% of the amount paid.

You can change the dates of your booking up to 24 hours before the first day indicated in the booking, subject to remaining availability, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

Final cleaning

Final cleaning is included for customers who book directly on our website. The accommodation must be left clean, tidy and without rubbish bags.

towels and bedding sets

If necessary, you can hire extra set from Reception:

• Additional towel set, apart from the first supply (€ 2.00)

The costs of extra linen sets are as follows:
• Single linen set additional to the first supply (€ 2.50)
• Double linen set additional to the first supply (€ 5.00)

You'll be provided with a set of linen for each bed and a set of towels per person, consisting of a small face towel and a shower towel.

Bed linen is included in the total price and will be changed weekly on request. Please tell us the exact number of adults and children in your group, so that our staff can prepare the linen before your arrival.

Safe

There is a safe in the hu stay Smart XS, hu stay Smart XS Plus, hu stay Smart S, hu stay Premium and hu Glamp Smart. There are rental lockers at the Reception.

The sockets in all types of accommodation are of the Schuko type. The voltage of the mobile home is 220 V.

There is a communal barbecue area on the campsite for the use of guests.

The cost of a token is € 3.00 and the duration of each token is 18 minutes. Tokens can be purchased at reception.

Air conditioners are available in all our accommodations and also function as heat pumps. The use of air conditioning is free of charge.

Accommodation cleaning with pet

If animals are present the extra final cleaning is obligatory and amounts to € 25.00.

Parking is free inside the camping and in the spaces near the mobile homes (if you have a parking pass).

Yes, electricity and gas consumption are included in the price.

We accept campers and caravans up to maximum length of 9 metres, depending on the availability of large pitches.

Welcome in the hu Roma Camping in Town!

With the aim of guaranteeing everyone a peaceful and respectful coexistence within the campsite, we ask you to take a few minutes to read our rules, which are posted at the entrance to the Camping and made available on various digital channels (website, web app, email, online check-in).

By accessing the campsite, you automatically accept these rules without reservation.

On arrival

All guests - including children - are required to present ID upon arrival, for checking and registration purposes. This is a legal requirement.
Guests must check the registration document for accuracy, report any discrepancies to Management, and report any changes to their party such as the arrival or early departure of members of their group.
On arrival, each guest will be given an identification wristband, which must be worn for the duration of their stay, shown at the request of the security staff and returned on departure.
The tourist tax must be paid on arrival in cash.
The accommodation will be available on the day of arrival from 2.00 pm onwards.
Late arrival of a maximum of 12 hours is permitted, after which the reservation will be cancelled.
The management reserves the right of admission, retention and removal.

On departure

On the day of departure, pitches must be vacated by 2.00 pm. Mobile homes are available from 2.00 pm and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. For departures after 10 am, an additional day’s stay will be charged. Late arrival of up to 24 hours is permissible, after which the reservation will be cancelled. Guests who leave early will still be charged for all the days of their booking. On departure, you must hand your keys, car passes and wristbands to Reception, and settle any extra payments.

Minors

Minors are only permitted to access the Camping if they are accompanied by an adult who is legally responsible for them and accepts responsibility for their behaviour towards Management and other guests.

Internal road traffic

Cars and motorbikes may enter the Camping after their numberplates have been logged. Vehicle passes will be issued on arrival, and must be hung on the rear-view mirror. Parking of vehicles is permitted in the spaces indicated by Management. The safety regulations require a maximum speed of 5 km/h (walking pace). Visitors are kindly asked to use their cars only to enter and exit the Camping.

Pets

Pets are welcome if you come here with your own moto-home or tents, and they are free of charge. They are also accepted in standard bungalows and chalets, but it will be applied an extra fee for a deeper cleaning of the room. Please be careful of them, and keep always them on their leash.

*Pets in the accomodation units are subject to a cleaning fee of 25€

Camping and caravanning

Pitches can only be occupied by a single means of accommodation (Car+Caravan, Car+Tent, Campervan), unless Management has given you permission to put up a small tent. Pitches may not be changed without authorisation from Management. Visitors are only allowed to connect to the electrical charging stations for lighting, and to power appliances inside caravans, motor homes and/or tents. The electricity supply is 220 volts 50hz. The sockets are rated for a power consumption of approximately 1300 / 2200 W for the hu Camp Easy pitches, and 3200 W for the hu Camp Premium pitches. Any attempt to connect more powerful appliances such as cookers, air conditioners or vehicles will shut down the power supply. The pitch must be kept perfectly clean and tidy.

Accomodation units

Accommodation units are available from 02:00 pm and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Guests are not permitted to remain in the Camping after Check-out time. No tents, tarpaulins, caravans, fences or other structures may be erected between the units. All units are provided with sheets. Linen is changed only on request (free of charge for stays longer than 5 days), by contacting Reception. For the sake of the environment, please use the air conditioning only when you are present in the units, with doors and windows closed. On departure, the unit must be left clean and tidy, free of rubbish and with clean kitchenware. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be charged together with the cost of replacing any broken or missing items.

Guest behaviour and quiet hours

Any behaviour, activities, games or equipment that may cause a disturbance to other guests must be avoided. Silence must be observed from 11 pm to 7 am. During the quiet hours, guests may not drive their vehicles or enter or leave the Camping by car. Guests are required to respect the plants and landscaped areas, hygiene and cleanliness of the Camping. The campsite staff and all guests are obliged to separate waste. Please use the special coloured bins with care and precision. The use of unsupervised naked flames (candles, citronella, charcoal, torches etc.) is prohibited.
Electric barbecues are permitted in the designed area.

Responsibility

Whilst guaranteeing the continuous surveillance of the Camping, Management accepts no responsibility for the loss of valuables and/or personal items from the accommodation, vehicles or any other location inside or outside the premises. Guests are obliged to take care of their belongings. Management cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage. Subject to its public liability cover, Management is not liable for damage caused by other guests, vandalism, atmospheric events, natural disasters, falling trees, branches or pine cones, fire, insects, epidemics or disease. Due to the nature of the Camping and its setting, there is natural unevenness in the terrain. Management declines all responsibility for any incident resulting from these circumstances. Management may require anyone who does not respect these Regulations to leave the Camping. Any complaints and grievances must be promptly reported to Reception.

Emergencies

1) Call the SINGLE EMERGENCY NUMBER 112 to contact the ambulance, police, fire brigade or other authorities.

2) Immediately afterwards, NOTIFY RECEPTION on + 39 340 685 7052 that you have called the emergency services. We need to be informed as soon as possible to coordinate the emergency response!

How does check-out work?

To check out, you must report to reception by 10 a.m. for accommodation and by 12 a.m. for pitches. Once at the counter, you will have to hand in the keys to your accommodation, along with the car pass.

Late check-out

If you plan to check out outside the scheduled time, please come to reception the night before to check prices and availability.

Services on the day of departure

You can stay at the camping until 10 am on the day of departure.

Wi-Fi

Wi-fi is available from hotspots in the restaurants, near Reception and around the swimming pools.

ATM

You can pay by debit card at all points of sale. Inside the camping there is a cash machine next to the reception.

Assistance

Customers who require assistance with the maintenance of their holiday home during their stay, additional, bedlinen or other services, can send us a text on our Whatsapp channel:

+39 324 082 3593. Remember to indicate your name, surname, booking number and accommodation number.

For emergencies (ambulance, police, rescue), call 112 and immediately notify Reception on 3406857052.

Security Staff

Our security staff will always be present at the entrance to check your identity and allow you into the camping. Security officers also patrol the camping at night to ensure safety and prevent any disturbances. The pool is supervised by lifeguards during public opening hours. However, we recommend that you always keep an eye on your children.

Parking for 1 vehicle per accommodation is free within the camping, in the designated spaces near the mobile homes or in the designated parking spaces, if provided with a pass.

If you experience a malfunction regarding your booked accommodation or pitch, you can write a message on our dedicated whatsapp channel: +39 324 082 3593.

Remember to indicate your name, surname, booking number and pitch number.

Emergency

1) Call the UNIQUE EMERGENCY NUMBER 112 to contact the ambulance, the police or other authorities.
2) Right after, NOTIFY THE RECEPTION of the arrival of help on the number 066623018 or, after 11pm, 3406857052: it is essential to let us know as soon as possible to coordinate emergency vehicles!

Baby sitting

There is no baby sitting service on the camping.

Laundry and dryers

There is a self-service laundry room on the campsite with coin-operated washing machines and dryers open 24 hours a day at a cost of:

• € 5.50 washing including soap and softener
• € 4.00 drying

Daily visitors

Yes, outside visitors are allowed on the campsite.

All external guests, including minors, must register at reception with a valid identity document.

Access is permitted with limitations depending on the time of the season and occupancy.

Reception opening hours and services

You can contact Reception for:

• Check-in and check-out, customer assistance, early check-out or extension of stay;
• Reporting technical problems and maintenance;
• Camping map, car access PASS;
• General information regarding tours
• Linen hire;
• Hire of hairdryer or iron (with security deposit;
• Luggage storage, lost property;
• Rental of table tennis bats and basketballs (with security deposit);

Reception is always open 24 hours a day

The swimming pool is open daily from 15 April to September. From late morning until late afternoon, depending on weather conditions the period and opening times may vary.

​Sunbeds reservation

No, sunbeds in the pool cannot be reserved. When you leave the water park, don't keep them occupied: take your towels away and help us give those who come after you a good experience too.

Quiet hoursThe campsite has quiet hours between 23:00 and 07:00. During these times it is not possible to drive around the campsite. If you arrive by car during the quiet hours, you will need to leave the car in the external parking area, located near the reception, and go to your accommodation on foot.

Yes, the pool, reception and the restaurant are provided with easy access.

Yes, inside the camping you will find basketball hoops and table tennis tables.

Shuttle bus to Cipro metro station

Visit Rome in total freedom with the shuttle service available from 25 March.

Departing from the campsite and the metro station Cipro just 600 metres walk from the Vatican Museums.

You can buy tickets at our infopoint, the cost per round trip is €5 from 6 years old and up.

Transfers to trains station and airports

The camping offers a shuttle service to and from the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino), which must be booked at least 48 hours in advance with the appropriate form.

The cost varies depending on the route.

Inside the campsite you will find a market with fresh produce, ready-made recipes and everything you need for personal hygiene. Every day you can find fresh bread, vegetables and fruit, as well as international newspapers and magazines.

Please contact our customer care to report a lost item at the email address [email protected].
If the item is found, you will be contacted and the item will be sent to the address indicated. The cost of dispatch will be paid by the addressee.
